HBO has a new fashion fixture in the works...

In case you hadn't already guessed it, the HBO show announced this week is about the one and only Ralph Lauren né Lifshitz; AKA the iconic American fashion designer, philanthropist, business executive and founder of the eponymous (ish) global multibillion-dollar enterprise.

According to HBO, the documentary titled Very Ralph will provide "an insight into the inspiring life of the designer and take us on his journey from a little boy from the Bronx who didn’t know anything about fashion to the living embodiment of the American dream he is today."

Directed and produced by Susan Lacy, the documentary features vivid archives from the 5 decades of his multi-billion fashion brand with intimate interviews covering his childhood, half-a-century-long marriage, career with Ralph himself (obviously) his family, colleagues and loved celebrities including Hillary Clinton, the late Karl Lagerfeld, Andre Leon Talley, Jessica Chastain, Naomi Campbell, Calvin Klein, Anna Wintour and Diane von Furstenberg to name but a few.
