AllSaints are helping emerging talent in the Middle East by giving musicians the chance to perform in its Mall of the Emirates branch as part of AllSaints ME Sessions. In partnership with Dubai 92 and Anghami – the first streaming platform in the Arab world - the store will be transformed into a rocker’s paradise for each performance, taking place over three weeks.
AllSaints are known for their indie-chic (yes, that’s a thing), grunge aesthetic and has long supported artists worldwide – it has collaborated with Kings of Leon, One Republic and Imagine Dragons in the past as part of AllSaints’ LA Sessions.
Here’s how it works: artists must upload videos or tracks to the competition website between February 16 and March 7, and the shortlisted contestants will be announced on March 12. They will then perform in store before the winner is crowned on April 5. Not only will the winner’s songs will be played on Dubai 92 and added to Anghami’s library, but they’ll also get studio time with a Dubai-based producer and receive Dhs5,000 in AllSaints clothing.
The winner will be decided by audience votes so, whether you’re headbanging in the audience or bobbing along from the comfort of Din Tai Fung, make sure to cast your vote online so your favourite can walk away with the prize.
