How one local streetwear designer is empowering the way we shop

Paraphrasing Gandhi - stay with us - "Shop the change you want to see in the world." And if we want to see more successful female designers, we need to start supporting them with our credit cards. Step forward Creoate, the first permanent store 100 per cent dedicated to female designers and creatives in London's Covent Garden.

According to Creoate's manifesto, "We don’t want the industry to change, but we want the industry to improve. We don’t believe in exclusivity, but we do believe in empowerment. We don’t buy luxury, but we love premium affordable. And the time has never been better to stand up, to support and grow by being inclusive. Our societies and future generations will be better for it." We couldn't agree more.

Creoate clearly has impeccable taste as it's stocking our very own Hind Adib's punchy slogan denim jackets. "I'm so honoured to be part of this incredibly empowering community," Hind reveals.

Find the store at 69 Neal Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9PJ  and if you can't make it to London this summer, shop online here.
