Describe your personal style.
Classic and casual with a twist.
Sum up your relationship with the high street.
Shopping guilt free!
What trends are you hoping to find this season in particular?
Square toe mules, slouchy pants, chunky ‘new Bottega’ style necklaces.
What’s your big secret to finding the best pieces?
The quality of fabric is always a big giveaway. I prefer to pay a little more for the premium ranges such as H&M Trend and Studio as they have more fashion forward cuts that can feel and look like designer. When browsing I like to pay attention to the details – a shoulder pad or a dart on a pant – pieces that can easily be incorporated into my everyday wardrobe but that still stand out, and have a slight twist.
Is there anything you would never shop on the high street?
I prefer to mix high street clothing with a designer handbag as I feel it elevates an outfit, although I do love a beaded bag – I have great one from Mango.
Do you have a favourite high street store?
This season Zara
is my go to. There are hints of Attico, Alessandra Rich and Bottega Veneta pieces throughout the store, plus they offer a complimentary tailoring service. When an item fits perfectly it can look more expensive.
