Set against the stunning backdrop of the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj, one of Rome’s most historical landmarks, the Giambattista Valli x H&M collection was unveiled on a pink runway that featured a mix of models and personalities, including regular Romans who had been plucked from the surrounding streets to model the collection.
Supermodel Kendall Jenner was undoubtedly the star attraction on the night, and Grazia Middle East cover star Chiara Ferragni was among the guests on the evening that also saw Troye Sivan, Sofia Carson, Alexa Demie, H.E.R, and Cameron Monaghan turn out to show their support and appreciation for the collection.
“I created my fashion house in Paris, but I proudly claim my Roman origins: my heart will always belong to the Città Eterna, and this is why I chose Rome for the show and in particular Palazzo Doria Pamphilj. With its eclecticism, Rome has integrally shaped my views and personality. It was wonderful to see it all come to life in my hometown”, Giambattista Valli commented about the event.
The Giambattista Valli x H&M collection - with womenswear, menswear and accessories - will be launched in selected H&M stores, as well as on hm.com, 7 November
