Mango just released an entire collection of sustainable denim

High-waisted, destressed, bootcut or boyfriend: there may be a denim for every mood but manufacturing is a less-than environmentally friendly process. However, high-street hero Mango just created an '80's-inspired capsule collection of denim staples made of sustainable cotton. Hurrah!

By combining sustainably sourced cotton with tech that lowers the impact of the manufacturing process, Mango is reducing the use of chemicals, water, and energy, therefore minimising the impact on the planet’s natural resources. The do-gooders at Mango also aim to promote a circular economy where it gets as much out of each resource as it can, and recovers and recycles materials at the end of the process as well.

This step forward comes as part of Mango’s objective to use sustainably sourced cotton in 100 per cent of its garments by 2025 and shows its continued support for the cultivation of sustainable cotton worldwide and its mission to encourage other brands to do the same.
