Pyer Moss to premiere a drive-in movie for New York Fashion Week

The fashion landscape in the age of COVID-19 has started to take shape. Saint Laurent dropped Fashion Week, campaigns are shot via FaceTime and London Fashion Week will go digital

Now Kerby Jean-Raymond, Founder of Pyer Moss, announced his game plan for New York Fashion Week: a drive-in film premiere for American, Also. You have our attention...

Pyer Moss had already been hailed as the future of fashion by Grazia Middle East. Since its inception in 2013,  the label took a stance on contentious issues, narrating social commentary, activism and dialogues, with fashion shows often exploring the American suburban space. So, it's no surprise that Creative Director, Kerby Jean-Raymond has changed the game again.

The feature-length documentrary is about the two years in the making of Pyer Moss' Spring/Summer 2020 show. As for the collection, the label will drop new items at the drive-in premiere, but not release a full collection. Talk about inclusivity, the premiere will take place in multiple cities.

This is a very exciting time as brands manoeuvre social distancing to find alternative ways and possibilites to bring collections back to life, and as a result, will radically change the whole fashion system.

While we all wait for the premiere, you can download Grazia Middle East's April-May 2020 issue - for free, here!

As for Team Grazia, we'll be watching American, Also, from the nouveau FROW - in bed, probably.
