Read all about it: Dior’s iconic newspaper print is back

Remember Galliano’s newspaper print collection for Dior? Of course, you do. It’s iconic. If for no other reason than that Carrie Bradshaw wore a dress from that very collection. You know the one.

Now, 20 years after it originally debuted as part of John Galliano’s SS00 Haute Couture collection, the newspaper print is back!

What’s exciting is that not only will the iconic print feature on a nylon jacket and some socks, it’ll also be making an appearance on a new interpretation of yet another classic: the Dior saddlebag.

The print happens to be reworked by Kim Jones himself in collaboration with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham. It not only harks back to its origins by featuring press releases written by Christian Dior himself, but also launches us into the distant future with a message reading, “COLLECTION ÉTÉ 3020”.
