The Modist founder, Ghizlan Guenez

Grazia couldn't be happier to reveal that The Modist founder Ghizlan Guenez and Saudi fashion editor-turned-entrepreneur Marriam Mossalli are among the regional women shaping the fashion landscape.

The Business of Fashion has released its annual list of the 500 people shaping the global industry, and this year, two of Grazia's favourites have made the list.

First up is Ghizlan, the CEO and founder of the first luxury e-commerce destination for women who dress modestly. Taking to Instagram after the annoucement, the businesswoman gushed, "Beyond honoured to be included in the #BoF500... Thank you @imranamed @bof... A milestone."

Next to shout about is Saudi national Marriam, who founded luxury consultancy agency Niche Arabia in 2011 and later published a book called Under The Abaya, which focused on Saudi Arabian fashion and street style

"I’m beyond excited to represent the Khaleej as a new edition to the prestigious #bof500 list!" Marriam enthused on Instagram. "It’s such an honour and true benchmark in my career to have this validation from the global fashion community. Thank you @bof & @imranamed for the honour!"

She added: "This is just the beginning for #SaudiArabia and I’m beyond proud to represent our region as a catalyst to the changes happening in our industry!"

We couldn't have put it better ourselves.
