Harry Potter is J.K. Rowling’s iconic series of novels that let us escape our childhood and live out our magical fantasy as Hermoine’s BFF (for those of you that only watched the films – shame on you). Now that we’re (a little) grown up, we’ve transitioned from wizard-wear to luxury brands and thankfully @gryffindior is here to combine our two loves into one Dior-wrapped account.
Created by Moda Operandi’s creative director Rachel Bernstein, @gryffindior has 111, 000 followers and it’s not hard to see why. Professor Dumbledore in Dior? It’s the content we’ve always needed.
The account puts Harry Potter characters in Dior’s runway looks to add a fun spin to a stressful and serious industry, and occasionally features other fashion houses like Balenciaga and Chanel too because, well, why not.
@gryffindior gives us a glimpse into what Harry Potter would be like if it was filmed in 2019 (we think there would definitely be a logo-covered wand and Yeezy's everywhere), but be warned: you’ll never look at Harry and co. the same - it’s hard to take Professor Snape seriously after you’ve seen him in leopard print.
