From Feriel Moulaï's debut as the first hijabi model to walk at Paris Fashion Week to Fendi's plus-size models dominating the runway, it's clear that fashion is embracing inclusivity more than ever before.
Stepping it up, Tommy Hilfiger has just unveiled its first hijab, joining the multi billion-dollar modest fashion industry.
What can you expect? Launching on 24 August, Hilfiger's hijab will come in a fine, woven jacquard boosted with light shimmer via a glittering metallic thread dubbed as soft lurex. The hijab serves up a breathable, lightweight and chic option for the everydays.
The news might not come as a total surprise as previously, Tommy Hilfiger dressed hijabi super model, Halima Aden on several occassions.
So, democratsing fashion and hopping on the inclusivity wagon, we can't help, but ask: who's next? Join us in the conversation by tagging @Grazia_ME!
The Tommy Hilfiger hijab will be available from 24 August at en-ae.tommy.com.
