Virgil Abloh has designed a Louis Vuitton bracelet for UNICEF

Continuing the legendary partnership between French luxury house Louis Vuitton and humanitarian organization UNICEF, Virgil Abloh has recently released his iteration of the Silver Lockit bracelet.

Like each Silver Lockit before it, the new design is contemporary, and instantly identifiable, featuring the iconic Louis Vuitton charm and engraved padlock, with LV’s signature bold chains linked to a thicker, colourful cord.

Inspired by Virgil Abloh’s Spring-Summer 2020 runway collection, the Silver Lockits are available in four colourways: black, orange, celadon green, and blue with yellow specks. The pieces retail at $390 (Dhs1409), $100 (Dhs361) of which is donated to UNICEF.

In continuation of its #MAKEAPROMISE campaign, Louis Vuitton is committed to raising awareness and funds to support children around the globe, providing conflict and disaster-affected children with nutrition, access to clean water, education, health, and protection services.

The French Maison first partnered with UNICEF in 2016 and has been quietly donating millions to the organisation ever since – Dhs36.4 million to be exact (whew!).
