We're obsessed with this Bahrani womenswear label and you will be too

If there's one thing Grazia loves to do, it's shout about homegrown fashion brands. So excuse us while we fangirl over Arab fashion brand Noon by Noor, who makes ridiculously cool collections we simply can't get enough of.

Founded in 2008 by two Bahrani cousins and best friends, designers Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa, Noon by Nour has proven it's no one hit wonder. Let us tell you more...

Six years after making history for being the first GCC label to be invited to present at NYFW 2012, the women are still at it, showcasing their collections every season and gaining a star-spangled fan base in the process.

Over the years the brand has steadily continued to wow us on the NYFW circuit. Here, they showcase amazing collections every season of modern, versatile, and feminine apparel that encompasses their Bahrani heritage.

Inspired by the landscape of their home country, the SS19 collection encapsulates midi dresses, skirts, suit separates and evening gowns in soothing tones such as white, beige, pale pink, powder blue and a stripe print. Everything is clean, contemporary and chic, with just enough draping to make it playful.

“For Spring 2019, we have merged complementing styles that are flattering to the body and offer a range of both fitted and fluid shapes,” Shaikha Noor tells Grazia. “Attesting to the brand’s ethos, we brought together masculine and feminine separates that are essential to completing a contemporary wardrobe,” adds Shaikha Haya.

It’s easy to see why Noon By Nour is such a hit with the A-List, including Jennifer Lopez, Olivia Palermo, Blake Lively, Solange Knowles and Alexa Chung.

Bottom line: this is a label going places.

The collection is available from Saks Fifth Avenue Bahrain, By Symphony Dubai, Tryano Abu Dhabi, Harvey Nichols Riyadh, Eastway Market Riyadh and noonbynoor.com
