Luxury paint brand Farrow & Ball is synonymous with dictating future interiors trends.
And while grey and other non-committal neutrals have dominated our walls and soft furnishings for the past couple of years, the British brand is bringing bright shades to the fore for autumn.
Teaming up with the Natural History Museum in London, its new Colour by Nature collaboration includes 16 new hues that are anything but low-key.
“The story of the Colour by Nature collection has been over two centuries in the making, beginning with the publication of Werner’s Nomenclature of Colours,” the brand explains on its website.
“A ground-breaking classification of colour in nature, Werner’s Nomenclature recorded in painstaking detail the exact hues and corresponding parts of animals, vegetables and minerals from across the natural world, becoming a treasured resource for scientists and artists alike.”
This equates to hot pinks, gorgeous greens and bold blues along with four off-white shades.
Each colour has been revealed on its Instagram page, so if you’re looking for a way to make an interiors statement and need a little bit of inspiration, this is a pretty good place to start.
The only hard part will be choosing what colour you want to go for.
