The final public holiday for the UAE in 2019 will be during November and December, with a five-day break.
There was a lot of confusion with the 1 Muharram holiday this year. Everyone was hoping to get a Sunday off, but the Islamic New Year was announced on Saturday, in light of the moon sighting.
But for the November-December time, there will be a three-day break over a weekend, making for a five-day holiday for all UAE residents.
The UAE Cabinet approves public holidays for the public sector for the years 2019-2020, and grants the private sector equal holidays. The decision aims at achieving a balance between the two sectors and supporting the national economy. #UAEGov pic.twitter.com/VqQqU8IBFx— UAEGov (@uaegov) March 5, 2019
Sunday, 1 December will be a holiday for Commemoration Day which actually falls on 30 November. And 2 & 3 December will be off to celebrate our 48th National Day.
So that’s a break all the way from 29 November to 3 December - magical.
